Are you ashamed of Cuonzo? No need to be soft about things. I don't mean to be abrasive but this is man's game played by tough guys. Likewise I try to embody that in my fanmanship so to speak. You don't ask for respect, you have to take it.

All of which has nothing to do with how you should act in the handshake line.

Respect is earned, it is not possible to "take it".

Respect is an earned thing, but to say you have to take respect is idiotic in a sense because it is given...it's not like you grab somebody and say, "you will respect me!" It's called Sportsmanship, Check it out.

No, I'm ashamed of your post. You embodied a lot more stupidity in that post than "toughness."

Surely he wouldn't be wasting his time on a message board...Then again, you never know

I don't believe I am the dude in question. I am at a lot of games and am a bad dude though. I will also be attending Bears men's games in Normal and Carbondale and also the Lady Bears games in Evansville and also Normal. I respect the unique customs and cultures of other Valley schools outside of Springfield when I am a visitor so I expect no trouble unless people are classless and my self control fails me. Looking forward to the games though and perhaps meeting some of the posters here.
