Wow...this was just an epic game of epic epicness...game of the year????

I'm not on the Kumbaya wagon. I don't think InSU is one of the top 5 teams I've seen in Wichita so far this year.

If anyone would tell me that WSU would go 1/17 from 3 in regulation and still win I would think the opponent would have been an RPI 250+ team. If someone had told me that WSU would forget how to box out and get outrebounded and go 1/17 from 3, then I'd expect the opponent RPI to be in the 300+ range.

This was a competitive game, but it certainly wasn't a "good" game or a well-played game.

An earlier poster said that both teams wanted it. That's not what I saw. I saw both teams try their hardest to give the game away - without success. In the 3rd OT, ISU was so gassed they may as well have dribbled down court and just handed the Shox the ball after they crossed half court.

I thought ISU was well-coached and has great basketball IQ. WSU did not have either of those in this game.

Odum plays well for just being a sophmore, and needs the interior players to compliment him, but he looks somewhat like the cavemen for the Geico commerials. He needs to shave his neck, trim up, at those suppose to be sideburns?

For what it's worth, I wasn't impressed with either team Saturday night.

What is accurate is that Wichita State is not as dominant as many posters thought and some Shocker fans tried to tamper down expectations.

What is accurate is that ISU Blue was unfairly ridiculed on this board for beating the teams the schedule gave them and everybody kept saying "wait until they play somebody."

So far I've seen more good games offered by the WSU contingent than from the ISU contingent.

It was an entertaining basketball game. I thought we played bad and there were some ill-advised coaching decisions. I'll take the win anyway at this point and move on to Carbondale.

My post even confirms the accuracy. WSU fans have been giving Indiana State props all over the place. In fact, the entire conference contingent is.

And then you have yourself, bumping every thread you have perceived as a slight towards Indiana State and further making the fanbase look bad.

What Congrats? You telling me you wouldnt have posted on that ISU will win the MVC tournament thread if we had lost? Don't like it when the shoe is on the other foot? I have said it once, I will say it another time, rarely do I have a problem with another fans opinion. I have aproblem with Hypocrisy and execution of opinions. Perhaps you're trying too hard and in a flurry you're keeping your eyes closed in order to make your inane point look more believable.

I could stoop to your level and start bumping every "Jake Kelly is going to the League" posts, but I'm not. Instead of spending time basking in your glorious run, you're wasting time scouring over old threads and attempting to make this an ISU pity party. Everything said at the time it was posted was true and that's why you didn't defend it then and are only bumping it now.
