Do you believe that they do a B12 game on monday and call the game a certain way, and do an MVC game on Wednesday and call it completely different?

Yes!
Post play is much more physical in the "bigs". Not near as many charges called. Palming? Called twice on the Bears this year and neither was anything out of the norm.

I do prefer the way games are called in the Valley over the way they are called with the more physical leagues. Fouls are fouls at any level. A post shouldn't be allowed to go "through" his defender because he is larger. Consistency seems to be harder to maintain when being more critical of physical play though. A team should be able to overcome a physical deficit with precision and execution. If you allow a more physical player to play physical he has an increased advantage. By giving him that advantage he doesn't have to learn precision and execution. Just get stronger and use that strength is the trend we see as opposed to perfecting the game of basketball.
