Here’s all I know…

3 years ago we rolled out the red carpet, BOR had already approved the move, and then a big nothing. To paraphrase Alannis Morisette “we met the man of our dreams, then his beautiful wife.” Yes there are still hard feelings about that and that’s the jerking around we’re talking about. Not with other conferences, -and yes I know as it’s been pointed out tens of times that this is a different administration. We are a very passionate, and protective fan base of our program. Sorry if our “whining” on your board is too much. We just don’t go out without fighting.

Do I know that the MVFC is the hold up? No. So I won’t ever say that. Is UIC a done deal? Nobody knows, so why say that? Do we at Murray know that the MVC is the only conference we are courting? No, so why start that.

Until there is an official statement released every rumor is just that.

We’ll still be as passionate about MSU as we are with or without the MVC. And if you can’t take this kind of passion in the MVC, then that’s the administrations decision. We can gripe and moan all we want on a message board but we all know we have absolutely no influence on the final outcome.

I can't speak for everyone, but I have said I believe Murray State would be a quality addition. I also see some advantages in adding UIC and UT-Arlington. When I have pointed these advantages out, you have completely spit on it and acted like Murray State is the only school in the history of sports with a good basketball program and passionate fans.
When people on this board want to compliment your school but also talk about good things the other schools offer, maybe you should take a step back and consider those good points instead of flipping out. Just a suggestion.....
