My guess is UTA and Murray and UIC guaranteed a spot when they can find a 14th. Which I'm hoping is NKU, St. Thomas, or SFA or all.

What I would like o see if we're not splitting into two conferences is to go big now. Illinois-Chicago, Murray State, Northern Kentucky, St. Thomas, UTA, and either Stephan F. Austin or Lamar for UTA. Stephan F. Austin is better overall but Lamar is close to Houston.

My opinion is it will be abundantly clear when the announcement is made what the presidents were thinking. Until then, its all speculation.
