Coaches really busy this time of yeat; sifting through over 1,000 names in the portal, scheduling, fund raising, etc. Do we really think that they're going to take the time to find a place for a kid that is better suited elsewhere?
I'm looking forward to a couple weeks from now when the masses start committing and we get a better idea of what rosters are going to look like next season.

He even went as far as comparing his relationship to his players as a kind of marriage where if they enter the portal, it is similar to cheating on your spouse and then asking to come back.
I can see that line of thinking where you don't want guys to enter the portal to just see how much NIL money they could get and have that gray area of whether you need to fill a scholarship or not.
How are other MVC coaches handling this?

Would Devries welcome Yesufu back? If they need a PG, do it!
