Before someone from ISU posts that picture, yes, we know it was a foul.

After seeing a clear cut picture of the play in question, there is no doubt that it was a foul. I take back everything I had said above. We lost on a bone head play. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Weems should have never been in that position but he was and it cost us the game.

+1

I even made the in-game comment that it was going to take a Winter's Bone style hack to get a shooting foul called on Indiana State near the end of the game.

No, I think some of the msu fans were correct. You can't really tell. Questionable call..... :D

How can anyone complain about that? He's getting hit in the face AND on the arm! I've never understood the "let the players decide it" at the end of the game comments. If a referee sees a player get mugged at the end of a game and doesn't call it, thus rewarding the guy who made the bad play (the fouler) and penalizing the guy who made the good one (the guy who got to the bucket), then he's still putting his own stamp on the game by letting that slide.

I still think MSU goes on to win the conference, possibly by a couple of games even, but based on that play they lost that game last night fair and square.

I love how so few people on this website are willing to give Indiana State credit. We realize that we haven't gotten a tough win on the road yet. Yes, we did have some bad (very bad) losses at the beginning of the season. Take into consideration that we have a first year head coach and players who had to adjust to a somewhat different style of play. I know it doesn't mean anything but when we played Notre Dame and Purdue we played them extremely tough. The final scores of those two games don't reflect the actual games...had a play or two gone differently ISU may have won those games. My point is ISU is finally playing to their potential, we had a few road-bumps at the beginning of the season, but things are starting to come together. We have had a fairly easy MVC schedule thus far. I certainly don't expect this team to end up winning the MVC...does my heart want them to? Of course, but I am being reasonable, I still think they are a few years away from that. There is a buzz going around in Terre Haute that hasn't been there in years. It was great to look up in the stands these past few games and see it packed. All I am saying is please stop bashing the Sycamores and give them a little credit...Indiana State turning their program around which is good for all of the conference.

"I have a feeling this outcome will swell the Sycamore population over here and dwindle the Bear population somewhat."

Nearly 24 hours in and half right so far.
