Updated list:
Teams that can get a 1 seed ahead of Wichita if they win out, even if Wichita is undefeated:
Syracuse, Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Duke
Maybe:
Michigan St, Iowa, Michigan, Iowa St, Creighton, Wisconsin (really, if we have a solo B1G champ, they'll be a threat)
Probably not, but not impossible:
Cincinnati, San Diego St, Villanova, Virginia, Texas, St Louis (yes, even with the H2H loss), Ohio St

An undefeated but schedule-poor WSU not getting a 1 seed because St. Louis steals it would be one of the greatest sports ironies ever.

Also fun to keep in mind, Shocker fans, is that 3 of these teams can complete this feat and WSU still gets a 1 seed. That's a lot of wiggle room (in a WSU can't lose a single game on their schedule kind of way).

Kind of. Syracuse could still lose several games and remain a one seed. Florida could probably drop one or two.

Those two are likely one seeds unless something ridiculous happens. Which means WSU is in the next boat competing with Arizona, Kansas, Duke, and maybe others if craziness happens.

Agreed, but that is already represented by Florida and Syracuse being on the list. It is helpful that I think WSU has finally moved up into the 3rd spot ahead of Arizona.

IMO, a Syracuse with 2 losses isn't equal to a Arizona or Florida with 2 losses; I think they'd lag behind a bit. Warrants mentioning.

In completely unrelated news, Southern U. just got declared ineligible by the NCAA. This leaves 6 teams in the SWAC (out of 10) eligible for the postseason. What a tire fire of a conference.

Arizona doesn't bother me. I expect them to lose a few more games.

Arizona and Syracuse back-loaded the hell out of their schedules, yet no one talks about it. Arizona plays 11 road games this season ... as of January 1st, they had only played two of those. As of February 1st, they'd only played five. Six of their final 10 games were on the road. It's not surprising at all that they've lost twice on the road already over that stretch, and still have four more road games to come.

Their other five road wins: 9 point win, 2 point win, 4 point win, 20 point win (1-11 USC), 3 point win.

Those first two wins were good ones, but Arizona is a long way from a proven team on the road. Wouldn't be surprised at all to see them lose to Colorado and Oregon on the road, and maybe even UCLA or Stanford at home.

Syracuse plays four of their final five on the road, after only playing ONE road game out of conference. They'll be very interesting from here on, after two straight lucky wins.

I'm more worried about Duke jumping us after beating Syracuse at home.

Kansas to the south, Duke to the midwest as 2 seeds? Would have thought that'd be the opposite.

Kansas has S-Curve priority and prefers South to Midwest, geography-wise (Memphis > Indianapolis). It's close though.

Same reason Wichita has been projecting into the South, not Midwest, in some brackets.

Why would they prefer south over Midwest?
