I don't think the MVC would have the nerve to do that to WSU. Championship game at SWOMO's Senior Night followed by possible championship game at CU's Senior Night? There would be some pissed off Shocker fans.

Why is this always the Shocker way of thinking, that things always somehow revolve around them? Guess what: The MVC didn't make last years game again MSU a title game, it just happened that way. If you don't want the last game of the year to be a title match, then play well enough before then that it doesn't matter. So should the MVC give WSU either a home game or road game against a team not projected in the top half of the conference for their last game every year?

I don't think that losing Creekmore is going to affect the team much. He always looked like a 'duck out of water' when I saw him play, and he was stripped of the ball more than he kept it.

While I haven't gone back and checked, it has been fairly obvious to me that the games on the last weekend of conference play are almost always set up to pit at least two teams against one another who are expected to contend for the conference title. That is why there have been two ESPN wildcard games that weekend which aren't chosen until it becomes apparent which ones will be significant and attract a bigger audience. This year it was WSU at MSU and UNI at CU. The top four pre-season teams, IIRC.

The MVC should not make a contending team go on the road in their final game in two consecutive seasons if it is at all avoidable.

......wow

That wasn't what I was saying at all. I'm pretty sure the MVC tries to rotate final regular season game Senior Nights (example: 1 year at home, next year away.) I wouldn't be surprised to see ISUb at Wichita State for Senior Night next year. CU @ WSU isn't going to happen either, because Creighton played at WSU for our Senior Night this past year (note: this doesn't mean I think the world revolves around Creighton.)

Take a chill pill.
