We dont know who will play Evansville in the nite cap but no matter who it is they can cause problems for Loyola or Drake

But not MSU! Bazinga!

LOL I know Bears fans happy no PIG like 2018...but can you make it to Saturday?

All about matchups. If things fall the right way, I don't see why can't make it to Sunday. I don't think we have the horses to win 3 in a row.

1 seed probabilities
Loyola clinches 1 seed with win.
MSU clinches 1 seed with win and Loyola loss.
Drake clinches 1 seed with win and Loyola loss.

7 seed probabilities
Illinois State cliches 7 seed with a loss.
UNI clinches 7 seed with a loss and ILST win.
Bradley clinches 7 seed with a loss, a UNI win, and an ILST win.
SIU clinches 7 seed with a loss, a UNI win, and a Bradley win.

So the game of the day on Saturday, no doubt is going to be the ILST @ SIU game. That is basically the game that is going to determine everything.

For sure! There is no scenario where ILST could lose on Saturday and stay off Thursday night. On the flip side, there is no way for them to play Thursday night if they win. I have a tough time seeing the Redbirds winning Saturday just because of the emotion that will be in the arena. Likely Barry's last game at SIU, and final home game for Fletcher, Lloyd, Pippen, Bartley, and Bol. It would be ideal for the Birds to win... SIU also scored 90+ points yesterday and ILST was up 8-4 around the 10 min mark of the first half in their game. Buckle up!

When the schedule came out, I knew this game would have HUGE implications on the league... Just didn't realize it would be to avoid Thursday

My favorite permutation is the one where the league title is shared at 11-7, and SIU beats IlSU.

That would mean two halfcourt shots sent Illinois St from a regular season title to Thursday.

They also gave up 90+ points to the worst team in the league.

The worst team in the league who beat two of the top 3 teams in the league at home. The Aces were no slouch. Neither team guarded well last night, but officiating had a lot to do with that. A win is a win.
