Seems like I heard that implied but they never said what happened. If it was that big of a deal it would be talked about, so I'm assuming it's over something petty that has been blown out of proportion.

I wish the content of your posts had a 48% accuracy rate

Not true. Indiana State is at 39.1% using the same US Dept of Education rankings.

Do we kick them out?

Nobody is kicking anyone out of the conference but it matters when you're looking to bring someone in. If we were kicking schools out of the conference, SIU would be a goner. They're the same thing as Murray State with the small media market, declining enrollment, and declining population but Murray at least has had some basketball success recently.

Fully aware no one is getting kicked out and I am not condoning it. I guess my sarcasm isn't as apparent as I thought.

It was simply a ridiculous response to a ridiculous post on why Murray shouldn't be in. For the record, here are the graduation rates for the prospective members.

UIC - 56.6
UMKC - 55.9
Murray - 48.3
UN-O - 46.4

Murray isn't even the lowest on this list, and the gap is small enough between all of them that this really should have zero impact. The MVC is an athletic conference, and Murray is heads and shoulders ahead of the other candidates in athletics.

Just for the record, I was curious how the entire MVC stacked up.

Drake - 78.6
Evansville - 73.5
Bradley - 72.3
Valpo - 71.5
Belmont - 68.9
Illinois State - 68.7
Northern Iowa - 67.2
Southern Illinois - 63.2
Missouri State - 54.2
Indiana State - 39.1

Yes, the same source the SIU fan used..google.

Just type in (blank) university graduation rate and you will get the 2018-19 US Dept of Education number.

I can tell you where you won't find it... mvc.org

Good luck with your 500 fan attendance “bigger market” lmao. Most of the participants here whether fans of member schools or not are knowledgeable, high IQ posters and I sincerely apologize to you for my negativity here. Still, there are 3-4 low basketball IQ dolts here too, likely more. You know who you are ‘cause you’ll have some smart aleck retort lol.

A lot of people on here, including me, want Murray State in the league. You seem pretty bitter and tend to say some over-the-top and crazy stuff, which isn't helping people see your side of things. After all, you went on an all out rant on how the SoCon was a better league than the MVC.
I know Murray State has amazing fan and community support. I know Murray State would fit into the league perfectly in basketball, but that doesn't seem to matter. Market size and the football problem are major hangups that seem to matter to the President's within the league. Not saying it's right, just is what it is.

There would have been more students at the game, but many of them are busy making plans to transfer to various MVC private schools should UTA get invited to the league.
