Murray State would get my vote for preseason #2. 17 PPG freshman from the ASUN, Javon Johnson from UIC, and some good depth pieces.

I believe Jeff Bidwell said Murray was increasing their NIL from $400,000 to $1,000,000 this year and they’re looking good on paper so far.

Ahh. The old “butthurt” insult. Classy.

So you know those guys they signed are awesome? You know for sure they are gonna make Murray compete for the league? Or, like all of us, we don’t know jack s*** about any of them and how these players will help Murray.

Murray is certainly getting players earlier than the rest of the league. Does that mean they will be better? Who the f*** knows at this point?

As Murray has found out - this isn’t the OVC - teams in the MVC actually try and have a lot of winning history of their own.

I've also said numerous times I think Murray made an awesome hire and they will probably be a force. But to say the guys they have gotten now are anymore than just "guys" would be foolish one way or another.

I honestly have no idea what we have other than it looks damn good on paper and we just snagged another that isn’t out there officially yet that is crazy impressive. Looking good so far but yeah, you don’t play the season on paper.
