You can't blame drinking for this level of stupidity. Not even in-breeding combined with drinking.

You need a TEAM of psychologists, working around the clock, 7 days a week, and you MIGHT be able to put together a rational thought.

2006-2007 MSU 22-11 (12-6) 1-1 MVCT 0-1 NIT MU 18-12 (7-9) 0-1 Big12T No postseason
2007-2008 MSU 17-16 (8-10) 1-1 MVCT. MU 16-16 (6-10) 0-1 Big12T
2008-2009 MSU 11-20 (3-15) 0-1 MVCT. MU 31-7 (12-4) 3-0 Big12T Lost to UConn in the Final 8
2009-2010 MSU 24-10 (8-10) 1-1 MVCT. CIT champs MU 23-11 (10-6) 0-1 Big12T 2nd round of NCAA
2010-2011 MSU 26-9 (15-3) 2-1 MVCT 2nd round NIT MU 23-11 (8-8) 1-1 Big12T 0-1 NCAA

Even IF I concede 06-07 MSU had the superior team, and it's not anywhere near a certainty, it's not even close the other years. I don't like KU anymore than you like MU, but it's INSANE to think your program is better over the last 5 years.

You just have to stop. No poster, perhaps no human, is wrong more often than you. Perhaps with the appearance of the new person-served, glm38, you won't be quite as noticeable. We can only hope.

"new person-served"?? What the heck does that mean? Maybe YOU should try to put together a rational thought/sentence??

OWH reports that CU-UAB home and home is a done deal with the first game in Alabama on November 16.http://sports.omaha.com/2011/07/27/jays-schedule-series-with-uab/

CU is getting swings at good programs next year but a vast majority of the good non-con will be on the road. This will be an interesting season.

Road: Tulsa, St. Joes, UAB and San Diego State (Tulsa and UAB to come to Omaha next year.
Neutral: Iowa but really a road game in DM.
Home: Nebraska and Northwestern.

Cupcakes so far are the three teams made part of the HyVee (Iowa) challenge or whatever its called. There is one game to get and CU wants to start a home and home in Omaha with someone decent.

I like Mac's willingness to play some tough road games, but hope we can another decent game for us at home.

Rumor is we are getting further apart...talking to a couple other BCS teams now but it is tough to get them to come play here first

ESPN will be releasing the matchups to their tournaments they manage this morning at 10AM. That means SIU, Indiana State and Wichita State will see who they are playing in the first round of the tourney's they are in.

Wichita State gets Colorado in the Puerto Rico tourney. http://assets.espn.go.com/photo/2011/08 ... icotip.pdf

Shockers could get Maryland and Mark Turgeon in the second game!

Certainly the best tournament that any Valley team is involved in this season and one of the best tourneys top to bottom in the country. The Shocks will have every opportunity to prove themselves right off the bat as a team right in the mix for the NCAA's. Likewise, a poor showing could all but doom their at large chances. They will have to play well, very well, to be successful, but at least they have the opportunity, which is all that most of us can ask for.

The Brazil trip gives WSU 10 extra practice days and 5 extra games. That's the upside I see early in the season. WSU certainly needs that to get something happening at PF. WSU's other question early in the season is Orukpe's ability to get some non-destructive minutes backing up Stutz.

The Brazilian National Team decided they needed a scrimmage against a top-tier college basketball team. ;)
