1. Gregg isn’t going anywhere. We’ve been doing this every offseason for 10 (maybe 11) years and people still haven’t learned.
2. When Gregg leaves or retires the replacement will be Jans unless he’s already established himself at a P5.

Why would gregggggggggg leave? He's a top 10 paid yeah coach.

If he does leave they'll get a top coach. They pay top 10.

I believe that only a university in the Carolinas could move him away from Wichita State. Otherwise, I believe he will stay at Wichita State.

Or unless he gets in his own way again and does something off the court, which has been his history. Hoping not since I do think Jans is a very good coach.

If Marshall leaves, Jans won’t be the coach. He is to old, if that is not enough then his off court stuff will keep him from being a candidate.

I was a little surprised when WSU took Jans back after that off court debacle. And really surprised that New Mexico state took him as a head coach with that in his background.

This assumes Gregg hangs it up relatively early compared to most coaches, which he’s implied he was going to do many times. Jans will want to run his own program for a while since he’s never had the chance to.

As for the off-court stuff, that gets more run than I think it deserves. AFAIK he had one really bad incident, was punished appropriately, and has not had another incident since. If families are willing to let their kids go play for him with that in his background then I don’t see it as a dealbreaker.

"Gets more run than it deserves"?? I'll bet you wouldn't think that if it had been your daughter.
