Southern Illinois picks up a transfer, Xavier Johnson, from George Mason. He averaged 7.7ppg 4.1reb 4.6ast. Should move right in as the starting PG and slide Lance Jones over to the two-guard.

Good addition, and much needed. Inside sources have confirmed that a athletic wing is a strong possibility within the next few weeks!

I would love to add 2! Ben Harvey's scholarship is up in the air with his health. IMO let him go elsewhere so Foster Wonders can step up.

I would be happy to let Trent Brown transfer and replace him with another 6'4-6'6 G. If we can find a more polished Big than JD Muila, bring him on too.

Great in HS. 12 points/10 boards a game in his second year at JUCO. Got buried on the bench at Pitt. To summarize, I have no idea.

The fact that he got buried on a bad Pitt team is really confusing. Was highly rated out of high school and highly rated out of JUCO.

He and Carter added. I felt Fleming was one that would stick around. He was very engaged with the new staff. Perhaps there’s a chance he could come off the Bench at Louisville. Playing for the Cardinals would be a dream for him.

As much as I wish he’d stay, I’m interested in what type of roster Pedon will build. This gives him another scholarship to work with. I’m expecting at least a couple more. There are a couple of Ohio State kids in the portal that I assume the Birds will have a chance at.

Sucks now but not awful that Pedon will get a chance to bring in his guys. SIU was left very bare bones when Mullins came in due to poor class balance from the last guy but ended up grabbing Barret Benson from the BIg Ten in the portal and luckily kept Eric McGill in addition to adding Domask/Jones. Salvaged what could have been an awful season.
