Unfortunately he’s probably going to Wisconsin with Greg Gard so he might never see an NCAA Tournament. At least he’ll be used to their offense, they scored 13 2nd half points in a loss to North Texas.

I could see him going to Northwestern and playing for Chris Lowery. Marcus is obviosly an intelligent kid and the possibility of going to Northwestern would be appealing. The program was a Big 10 title contender this year and is definitely moving in the right direction. Plus the possibility of one Saluki legend playing for another Saluki legend and doing damage in the dance would be great motivation. It's a shame SIU didnt bring back Lowery this past offseason when they had the chance. We could have danced this year and Domask would be returning.

I know this is a troll job but.....

He's going to Wisconsin.

EXCELLENT!

Bradley has a core that you can build something around for next year.

Phew, finally some good news. Hickman, Duke and Hannah also signed this morning. Leons, Hickman, Hannah, Deen, and the new guy Burch is a solid group to build around. Braves should be battling for top of the league again next year.

Zek Montgomery is the only guy Bradley has lost that was a "surprise." Fans act like Anthony Parker just went into the portal.

Zek was a nice piece on a good team last year. But there are 100 of him in the portal.

Bradley is in a position to get a couple good players in the portal and be at the top of the league again. Now it comes down to recruiting and getting the right guys. They are out there.

Bowen Born did an appearance on behalf of The Panther Collective this morning. He's officially back for next year not that there was much doubt. There had been some smoke around Nate Heise and Iowa State but he appeared at the same event and his parents gave money during UNIs 'Live Purple, Give Gold Day' today.

UNIs roster will be fully intact.

Not aimed at you by any means....

I have no idea why this bothers people so much? I mean, Born has two years left to play making him a junior next year. Heise has three years left to play making him a sophomore. There wasn't a good way to classify anyone with the COVID year but UNIs method is every bit as acceptable as calling guys 'graduates' or 'fifth years'.

I also don't know why some don't want to consider UNI young last year? Born was obviously experienced, Heise and Phyfe missed the whole year. Tytan Anderson and Cole Henry (who didn't play in 9 games) averaged 8 minutes a game the year before. James Betz only played in 46 games over 3 years and averaged 3 minutes in those games. 3 guys playing major roles that hadn't played a single minute of college basketball before last year and we were forced into playing 2 walk ons at times.

The very definition of a young team that is going to be so much better for it going forward.

The problem was the NCAA didn’t have a uniform rule on how to classify players.

I personally think Born should be listed as a senior next season - and if he comes back he’s a 5th year or a graduate student. I do think some programs like to list the guys a certain way to fit the narrative they want.

Since these guys are also supposedly students wasnt Bowen Born a junior this season academically? So next year he is a senior but with an extra year of playing eligibility if he takes it.

But, again, there was no directive on how to label all of this.
