Lucky, Butler outplayed UF throughout the whole 2nd half, and deserved to win that game. I would love to see either Butler or VCU win the whole thing, but I'm rooting for Butler as they are my 3rd favorite team behind ISU and IU.

the fact that you have three favorite teams bothers me but my sister went to Butler. I tend to pull for them, not root, PULL.

60-58 is the only score you need to know. Hard to argue that ODU deserved to be ranked higher when Butler just beat them. Butler didnt get to amass all the impressive wins because they didnt get to play VCU or George Mason in conference. ODU had a better non conference season ill give you that but its about how they are playing in march not november.

Oh, well in that case I'm sure you believe that UNI deserved the #1 overall seed last year as well?

Exactly! Wizkid isn't living up to his name.

Butler won a game over ODU at the buzzer on a neutral court AFTER selection sunday. How does that prove anything about either team's resume as a whole?

Should Marquette have been seeded above Xavier?
Should VCU have been seeded above Purdue?
Should Butler have been seeded above Pittsburgh?

Seems the Wizkid knows what he is talking about after all. :D

Quite possibly the worst college basketball game I have ever seen. Both teams were horrid.

Butler was 3 for 31 on two point shots.

Just try and digest that for a bit.

This is one game that I thought Stevens' coaching was questionable.....way too much going inside when the inside game just wasn't working. I know they were having trouble with the 3's also, but I think I would have kept on shooting them. Even a small percentage going in would have been better than 0% going inside.

Agreed. Stevens did a lousy job; if it had been CLo Salukitalk would be burning pyramids on his lawn. How can a coach let his players miss so many layups? Butler should have had a 10 point 1/2 time lead. And missing almost 1/2 their free throws...meh.
