Maybe after spending 227 million (the most expensive arena in college basketball), they didn't have the hundred dollars left to paint a line.

I watched the game and thought the whole time there was no center line and it was part of some idiotic demonstration that there would be no back court violations. I even pointed it out to my wife. If this is allowed, then maybe someone should draw the outline of the court in a thin beige line so that the visitors wouldn't know when they stepped out of bounds. Maybe CU misses the shot and OU wins in OT anyway, but they were definitely screwed out of this one.

Wow that is disgusting! There is no excuse for any team in college basketball to have a court like that. I feel really bad for Creighton.

F*** Oregon, F*** Nike, F*** Altman and especially F*** the Knight family.

On my word I will never buy another piece of Nike anything the rest of my life.

The jays did some things to shoot themselves in the foot (free throws mostly) but to have that F***ing joke of a court play such a big role in the outcome is bullS**t.

I hope it burns down.

This f***ing season starts with a f***ing by Iowa State and ends with a f***ing by Nike, the biggest sweatshop runners on earth.

F**K!!

If there is a new way to lose a close game, McDermott will find that way. Sorry Jays fans.

And yes, that is a ridiculous court. :bs:

Yeah, seriously, I thought CU already found all the ways to lose a close game this year, I guess I was wrong....proud of the team though, got an extra month of practice and we got a very good team coming back, Go Jays!

What a freaking joke. Jays have the ball in a tie game and the last shot. The worst that can happen is OT. Unless there is an invisible freaking line on the court that no one can see. Oregon should be embarrassed and I hope someone at the NCAA requires them to make their court like the other 1 billion courts in the world.

Ask Singler what he thinks... It's a clear disadvantage to an opponent.

Singler said he was struck by the irony of the moment, even as it happened in the tense final seconds of a championship game. After the game, he recalled a game earlier in the season when he stepped over the invisible line, "but no one was pointing.''

The court is horrible but IMO it had nothing to do with the call. The player had zero court awareness. You see players dribbling up top all the time and they never never look down to see where the halfcourt line is. Why? Because they have played 3000 basketball games in their life and know when they are getting close. No. This one is on the player.
