You are a ra-tard if you honestly believe that Odom was the best PG in the conference last season.

I think we can let this string die any time now. Arguing with Sycamore guy is a lot like arguing with my 6th grader. There is no real logic to it, the reasoning morphs as he sees fit, and he is bound and determined to get in the last word even if it means mumbling it under his breath as he walks away.

Then I guess I'm the R word. After all I can't spell integral...

He was 2nd in the league in assists, 2nd in the league in assists per. He was 1st in the league in steals, 1st in the league in steals per (ranked in the top 50 in the country). He was 6th in the league in free throws made, 7th in free throws attempted and he was 7th in the league in assist to turnover.

If you take his defense and his ability to draw charges he probably averaged more like 3 steals per game rather than the 2 that he averaged. Now I might be the R word - no debating that. However, those like good enough numbers for me to make a fair argument without being called names, no?

Fine your not a numbers guy - neither am I. Then consider this, the Sycamores were picked to finish 7th in the Valley. They got off to an abysmal start to the season and 6 games in Greg Lansing said here you go kid it's your team you run the show - from that point on the Sycamores began to develop an identity. It took awhile but by the time MVC play started the Sycamores were alive and well. We finished 3rd in regular season play (again picked to finish 7th) and the biggest reason why? Jake Odum. I don't know how he doesn't factor into the conversation as best PG in the league last year? He played his best games against some of the best PG in the league - it's not like he got his ass handed to him. Go look at the results of the games and the statistics, Jake Odum was the man all year. So R word or not, hope you have a good weekend man!

@syacamorestateofmind - Dude, turn the page. We all agree Odum is a talented player and any team would like to have him. No one is persecuting you or him (and I'm starting to think you are him with the constant novellas on this topic).

I am most assuredly not him and I digress! Sorry to cause irritation. Hope you all have a good one.

Don't worry about it. There's a whole lot of bitter and envy in this thread. I am sort of biased because I have never like ISU Blue, but a lot of people on here are just hating because they wish they had danced instead.

No...honestly if you think Odom was/is currently better than AY or Kwadzo there is no helping you.

He may end up being better than them, but last season Kwadzo was easily the best PG in the league.

Actually the 3 players you mentioned were almost identical in terms of stats in the MVC.

No they aren't. The only place all 3 registered was assists. Odum was only on assists and steals, while Kwadzo was also on being a ppg leader, and in FT percentage. AY was only on assists, and ahead of Odum.

From the stats, I would say Kwadzo was the best all around PG, although I think Odum was more important to his team and their performance.
