But by Saturday morning, the Aggies were down to two choices outside of Spinelli, after Wichita State's Gregg Marshall rebuffed their interview request.

Kinda weird all that would leak out about Jacobson when the offer and accept for Kennedy must have been imminent.

To finish off this story with a Valley touch, Kennedy was an assistant at Creighton from 91 to 93.

So LJ, given the Creighton connection; what does that mean about Kennedy's time at Creighton? What did he learn at Creighton that propelled him to this level years later ? Do other Valley talkers see Kennedy in a different light now in view of this? What does this say about the Creighton job?
