Team by team starting lineups

Discuss the MVC hoops season here.

Exactly.

I think we will most likely strugle early, but probably pick up momentum near the end of the season. This has been something that has been pretty consistant in the Jank era. Because of our scheduling, we end up killing ourselves, or someone elses chances in the conference. You can bet on it.

WSU

PG - DWill or Ragland this looks to be a close hard fought battle.
SG - Murry
SF - Hatch
PF - Durley
C - Stutz

Key reserves, the rest of the team. We can go at least 3 or 4 everywhere except center. True centers are Stutz and EO, Durley is also listed as a F/C. Other bigs are Blair, Ellis, Hamilton and a walk-on.

The PurplePimp website lists 12 players. How many of those are scholarship players? Practices are not going to be competitive enough to prepare the team for the regular season I am afraid.

It's going to be a LONG year for Evansville....even longer if Hopf isn't healthy.

To accentuate the quality depth comment, Aaron Ellis, a guy that admittedly doesn't give you a lot of flash BUT has started almost 40 games over his career and was referred to as "A guy that can start for me anytime" by current Oregon Duck Head Coach Dana Altman, is hardly even mentioned as an afterthought on this year's team.

Well if UNC, IU, and Butler won't prepare the Aces for the season, opening the season a win at CKA will!!!

I'm sure EU will be fired up for the Shockers since we gave them reason to believe in themselves against us last year with two of our worst outings. Alas, unless we have a complete breakdown the Aces will be outmanned this year by WSU, and most of the rest of the conference. But they could prove me wrong, that's why they play the games. I do think they have a better chance of staying out of last this year than last, but it's unfortunate that they have lost too many players untimely.

I'll take Indiana (who is TERRIBLE), UNC, Butler and WSU and give you 100 points.

The Aces lost a walk on player who graduated with Honors and Haarsma left for home. We returned everyone else from last year team. Bouchie played 2 games and wasn't a factor in either and Derek Johnson never player due to injury You may wish to rethink your position.
