Regarding Shockem's comments on their big guys - it's tempting to think that way. MSU is in a similar situation. Our 2 big men haven't played well our last 3 games (including the 2 MVC wins). We almost seem better without them. But in the long run I don't think that's the case. I think we (MSU) really need Patterson to step up for us to have a realistic chance to contend. And I think the same is true for WSU. I think Stutz can be the difference for them.

By no means do i think we're better off without murry and stutz. My point is that we need these veteran leaders to step up and play to their potential. My feelings wouldn't be hurt, however, if both of them were sent a message and got some time on the pine to think about it.

At this point, I think many WSU fans would be fine with Murry and/or Stutz getting in foul trouble. The way they both played against CU, we may be better with them on the bench right now. Maybe it's just me still blowing steam, but both of these guys need to figure out a way to show up and take this team by the reigns. Talk is cheap, time to see some senior leadership out of these guys.
