Who do you fear playing on the road...?

I am never confident of a road victory.

Since I must pick, then I will go this way:

Blue Birds - The Shockers have found more ways to lose there than I can count. Sometimes we get our heads handed to us and sometimes we blow 18 point leads.

Panthers - The Cats always seem to out-patient us.
Aces - This game is always a dog eat dog struggle.
Bars - Every time I think we should win the game, we lose.
Illinois State - This is my illogical ordering. I guess I expect to lose there because we hardly ever do well on the Illinois swing trip.

I know the order does not seem logical, but it is the way I feel. So don't bother to argue with my choices because I will agree in advance that you are correct.

As a fan of a team picked to contend this year I can tell you that I get heebies when the Jays go on the road to a "Thursday night team" whoever that might be. Losing on the road to a team in the top half usually doesn't kill your chances but losing one that "you should have won" is where you lose ground to other contenders.

Sooooo, I guess I'll answer this question about December 29 once we see where teams are this year.

The last 2 years, UNI hasn't been very good against anybody on the road. Especially at UE, where we've lost our last 3. I remember a lot of Panther fans heading for the nearest cliff when they beat us in '10.

Well it now looks like we need to fear playing the Shockers on the road and at our own individual houses. They will only be getting better over the next six weeks.
