Can't disagree with that at all.

Is it just me or does this conference feel like the WCC circa 2006? You have two teams Creighton and Wichita State (Gonzaga/Saint Mary's) and then a whole lot of mediocrities. Feels very top heavy at the moment.

I'm OK with the top 5. Think I'd swap ISUb with SIU and Evansville for Bradley. MSU is clearly #10 as of this moment.

And they lost a road game to a ranked team. We will see where UE ends up. I fully expect to be in the hunt for a top 4 finish. I also will be very surprised and shocked if they beat Colorado St or Butler. Finally, I will say that the 4 teams everyone is speaking about running and hiding from the rest of the league, UE will will at least be 3-5 against them or better.

Time will tell who is right.

"Evansville was the 3 seed"--Stop using that. There were like 8 teams that tied for 3rd place. Drake was the 7 seed, and had the same record as Evansville.

WOW You're still upset that UNI got swept by UE and made them the 3 seed.

I have a feeling Bradley slips further toward the bottom this week playing at Central Michigan and #4 Michigan in Peoria. If they can go 1-1 this week, I would be very surprised. Not that Central MI is very good, but Bradley's 4-1 record is a little deceiving. There has been one decent win at IUPUI on the road, but that's about it. They seemed to have difficulty getting an offense going against a really bad UT-Martin school at home and the Braves seemingly couldn't figure things out until later in the 2nd half. As for Michigan, I would consider a less than 15 point loss a victory for morale.

December is UE's big test. Colorado State(A),Butler(A),MurrayState(H)&Miami Oh(H). They also have Periennal power house Oakland City and winless Alabama State, both home games. Then right before yearend 12/29 the game I'm waiting on Creighton in Omaha.

Yep December is a important month for the Aces. If UE goes 6-0,not counting OCU, Y'all will still be dismissing UE and talkin about how unfair the Omaha refs were

I want to make sure I got this straight.....so you are predicting a UE victory in Omaha?????

I think he put IF. That is not saying they are going to win. I don't think it should be discounted, it is highly unlikely but not improbable.

So winning three games against absolute garbage, and doing it without Colt is substantial? I'm sorry, but I would call that expected. I would have also expected much larger margins of victory, not squeaking out a couple of garbage wins and one game by a dozen. The loss to Buffalo, with or without Colt, counters all the wins against garbage. Evansville logic would pencil in UNO as the Summit League favorite, afterall, they beat Chicago State. Crown 'em!
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!

John, are MVC teams "garbage" to the Big 10, Bug 12, ACC, Big East, etc, etc? Or, do we really understand, as college coaches do, that we have parity in college basketball, and any night a so called weaker or less talented team may win. I never understood calling a win or a team garbage.
There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.
