A big chunk of the second half was some of the worst basketball I've seen at WSU since the dark days of the '90's.

With Wessel and Orukpe both missing the game due to injury, Lufile and Wiggins got more minutes.

Lufile is probably the best 3rd unit center in the league. He had 6 points and 10 boards and looked great on D - most of the time. NCU was running some high screens that put Lufile doubling a guard at half court during the switch. He was getting back after the switch and forced a back court violation on one possession.

Wiggins had a couple of "coaching moments" that got him pulled from the game for some "friendly" advice from the coaching staff, but he did manage to get 14 points and was 4/6 from 3. He's been the 3rd unit SF, but with Wessel out, he got more minutes and it looked like he was trying to get more PT.

Williams started in place of Wessel and was REALLY looking good until the Shox built the big lead.

Jake White is starting to look like the guy at the far end of the bench. He has moments where he looks great, and he's got a sweet shot from the perimeter, but he's starting to remind me of a 6'8" version of Garrett Stutz. The two of them share the same footwork on D.

If Early would have wanted it and Marshall would have allowed it, Early could have put up 40.

I'm getting tired of this team, one of 14 undefeated left in D-1, playing down and only winning games like this by 26. They will need to sharpen up before dealing with Cuonzo and Crew.

Even though the team was awful, Cle Early had a productive start, scoring 12 points in the first 10 minutes. On some teams he would've had a shot at 40.

A big chunk of the second half was some of the worst basketball I've seen at WSU since the dark days of the '90's. You could not have been more accurate in this assessment. I thought I had taken a wrong turn and ended up in a lunchtime pickup game at the YMCA.

He's been the 3rd unit SF, but with Wessel out, he got more minutes and it looked like he was trying to get more PT. On one occasion in the northeast corner, Wiggins was guarding #22. # 22 shot past Nick along the base line. It appeared Nick's snickers were nailed to the floor. I am pretty sure it was a teachable moment.Williams started in place of Wessel and was REALLY looking good until the Shox built the big lead.

Jake White is starting to look like the guy at the far end of the bench. He has moments where he looks great, and he's got a sweet shot from the perimeter, but he's starting to remind me of a 6'8" version of Garrett Stutz. The two of them share the same footwork on D. I agree in spades. Some of his shots are really ugly.If Early would have wanted it and Marshall would have allowed it, Early could have put up 40.

2 starters out, played like poo in the 2nd half (12 turnovers). Good thing UNC-Greeley is not a very good basketball team. Still won by 26, which I guess is a plus. Need a lot of improvement going into Knoxville on Thursday with the ranking bullseye on their backs.
