Yet this superstar recruiter and the best coach in the league Lost to Creighton by 12 in Omaha, had to pray that Wragge's last second three didn't go down in Wichita and lost again to Creighton in St Louis. If you recruit better and coach better, how is that even possible?

Probably should also add that despite all of that superstar talent, Marshall was swept by Evansville too. I guess the superior coaching took the day off against Evansville. Twice.

But he's going to hang a F4 banner this year! Does the Quest center let you hang participation banners?

Obviously there isn't a plethora of juco info out there, but jucorecruiting.com and jucojunction.com do a decent job at ranking top players. Wichita is nabbing the top MVC juco recruit year after year.

I hope you aren't representing your school's fan base by bragging about beating a team with 2 or 3 of their top players out with injury or in their first couple of games coming back from injury.

WSU, with Baker back and Hall not nursing a broken finger, was a completely different team than the team that played the Valley schedule.

If you want to brag about beating a team missing a lot of starters, I guess you can do that.

I doubt the WSU/CU results would have been the same if Gibbs and Echenique had been out for the season, and McDermott would have been out for nearly half of the Valley season.

At the start of league play, both Cotton and Orukpe were still limited by injuries. Gee, isn't Marshall just not cutting it because with injuries to 5 of the top 7 players on his team he can only manage to finish second in the Valley and beat the team with the first-team AA once.

Funny how you try to discredit WSU's win over Creighton in Wichita has having "to pray that Wragge's last second three didn't go down." I seem to remember Creighton's win over WSU in the tournament was by three points, and Armstead shot a three with 1 second remaining. And yet I haven't seen any WSU fans trying to dismiss Creighton's win as "having to pray that Armstead's last second three didn't go down."

Didn't we beat Creighton in Omaha by 21 a season ago? That seems to be more than 12 points. And it was on the road, rather than at home. Oh, and you weren't missing multiple starters.

Oh, and I'm fairly certain that Coach Marshall still leads the head-to-head matchup with Coach McDermott.

Good for you on going to the Big East, though. The argument on your forum has been really entertaining for me. Here's the debate I see: WSU fans are proud of what their program has accomplished. Creighton is proud of what other programs that are now in their conference have accomplished. Congratulations on Butler's success!
