Very nice win, Drake (from a BU fan). Bradley had a great win at UIC last season that was a lot like this -- won on a tip-in at the horn. Pretty sure UIC has seen enough of the Valley on its home court!

Wow impressive. Good road win for the Drake and the valley vs. a respectable team. What kind of impact did the new coach Giacoletti have on the game? If any?

Coaching differences are night and day between Giacoletti and Phelps...Phelps never would have, or should I say never could have, made the adjustments that took Drake from down 8-9 to up 9.

I'm not sure how well Drake will do in the Valley grind but I know one thing.....Carter will be tough to stop cause of his speed. Especially with the new rules. He will cause a lot of defenders to foul out if the new rule holds up all year.

Carter would have been out of the lineup after his second basket. Phelps always yanked any player who scored twice in a row.
