Your last one should read 1 bid if anybody else wins the league other than WSU and also wins STL.

And then a final option for 2 bids if anyone else wins the league besides WSU and loses in STL.

So, WSU and ISU B take care of business and finish a strong 1 and 2 in the MVC and both make it to SAT in ST. Louis but someone else beats WSU on SAT and ISU B on Sunday then I say THE VALLEY maybe gets 3, a lot of if ands and buts but, crazier stuff has happened!

Obviously a optimistic and beast case scenario.

Crazier as in when MSU and WSU duked it out a few seasons ago and MSU won the conference. But here come the Trees, and they win the Valley Tournament. So the Trees make the Tournament and MSU and WSU get shoved into the NIT. I'd definitely prefer the 3 bid outcome to that bull crap...

Or do u think that drake is going to help make this league a 1 bid league by beating some teams that they shouldn't?

Why do you and iSASO feel the need to do this? The onus is on the favored team to take care of business. It's ridiculous to keep criticizing lower-tier teams for trying to win games. WSU losing to Evansville twice and SIU once didn't keep us out of the tournament last year. If your team falls on the wrong side of the bubble due to one game, that means it's extremely likely there were several other games that could have reversed their fortunes.

I think that everyone (or almost everyone) wants ALL Valley teams to win as many non-con games as possible!

Go Valley!

Probably 1 bid. Two if we are lucky.

If we can show well in the MTE's this week, we can easily make a case for 2 as long as WSU and ISUblue stay at the top of the MVC all year. I don't think anyone else has a legit at large chance.

to get 2 in there needs to be a very CLEAR separation between the top 2 and the rest of the conference, a bunch of 9-9 teams with 11-7 or 12-6 winning the conference = 1 bid. We need 2 teams to be 14-4 or better and both make the final in St. Louis.

Assuming WSU and ISUB can continue to win the games they are suppose to and if Evansville can finish strong in their non-conference - there could be 3 teams in the discussion.

Isn't it a little early to proclaim possible/not possible at large? The valley had 6 teams in the top 100 right now. Think we are a little premature on who could and could not be an at large.

WSU, Evansville and MSU w/o losses is a good start. Bradley and In St (nd Drake) with only one loss is a good start. Everyone else is "in the hole" but still plenty of opportunities to make your case. Lots of work for everyone. In 2007 WSU was ranked #8 in the country going into the non-exempt tourney with an 8-0 or 9-0 record and finished 17-14. November is where you start building your case but you make the tourney in February and March.

Just keep winning!
