The Big East this year isn't nearly the Big East of days gone by... For any Father Creighton fans still lurking, its a still a good conference, and a better conference than the MVC, but the Old Big East would never have had only one team in the Top 25.

DePaul will probably be two games below .500 in their conference.

Creighton fans wayy overvalue it. It's kinda funny to watch if you ever venture over to their site. You'd think it was the ACC v. 2.0 over there.

The big boys of the old Big East are what carried and made that conference. The leftovers now are a decent collection of teams that's now being carried by ONE team, just like the Valley. It certainly isn't a major conference and in most years, the Valley would be pretty close in similarity with it. But with the Valley tanking this year, that's not the case.
