I'll never understand why people have so much trouble with a simple quote feature on a message board.

You open a quote with this:

Code: Select all

[quote]

And you close one with this:

Code: Select all

[/quote]

If you don't have both of those, your quote will not work.

If you post something and notice that your quote commands broke, then hit edit and fix it.

What makes it even more mind-boggling is that there's a quote button there to do all the work for you. I don't understand how anybody can mess that up.

In their defense if you are working on a tablet or smartphone the quotes don't always work right. There's been a few times when I've noticed one I've done didn't work right and I just said to heck with it and posted it anyway. Too much work to fix it or start over. It's much easier on a computer or laptop.
