Brutal game. Ugly from start to finish.
Congrats to bu on their second win against us in the past four years.

Chance of WSU losing a game prior to the tourney...2.79%

1. WSU
5. ISUb
9-10 Everyone else.

Deadbirds gonna deadbird.

The first half was brutal (Lemon missing FTs? XT making them???), but the Braves collectively turned it on in the second. Bell got hot and had a few steals and breakaways, then it was Lemon's turn. Pickett and Barnes were on fire. That was fun to watch. Hard to believe we could win by 19 with our starting shooting guard (Grier) going 0-7. OG had made 7 of his last 17 from the arc coming into last night.

XT is a true freshman and he's come a long way, but this team would be so much better if he would cut out the dumb fouls, especially the 90 feet from the basket variety. I'm seeing way too much Jordan Prosser.

Braves still need to prove they can win on the road though if they want to finish top half. Two winnable games are coming up, @MSU and @Loyola.

I thought Bradley was a dumb team that couldn't shoot straight and then I watched ISU last night. Good grief.

That was an ugly game but I will never apologize or complain about beating ISU by 19 points. KaDarryl Bell had probably the best game of his two-year career last night. Athletically and defensively he can play---but can he ever learn to not make ridiculous dumb turnovers and make shots consistently? Who knows.

Lemon took the game over late. Auston Barnes continues to be a very nice surprise and improves every game. I love Reggie Lynch for the Birds. Paris Lee as well. I was disappointed in the three JUCO guys (Knight, Loften, Hunter).

Bradley really turned it on the last 10 minutes. Otherwise it was ugly. I have to agree with others on here. Auston Barnes had another great game as he seems to becoming more aggressive on Offense and getting more confidence. Bell had by far his best game of the year, making plays on defense and was 3-3 from long range.

I can already tell that I'm going to be sick of Lynch by the time he's gone. He's going to be a good one as you can't teach that size underneath and he'll only improve. After watching ISU throw up so many bricks, I'm not sure how they were 4-4 in conference. If BU and ISU are the 4th and 5th best team in this conference, than the valley is WAY down this year.
