If you counted the 2 FT's on the made 3-pt fouls tonight that means the Panthers scored about 95 pts on the Aces this season as a result of shooting from behind the arc. I wonder what Marty's game plan should be if they were to meet in STL? Hmm...

It has killed us all year...in fact, killed us for several years! Mock getting those two early, and in my opinion, questionable fouls, that took him out of the game less than 4 minutes in, hurt us with post play, but still we give away too many games by watching our opponents hit threes!
Proud of Balentine! Frustrated with our coach! We need to CHANGE our defensive tactics!!!

If you think the game plan was to leave open their shooters you're crazy. 75% of their 3's were in transition and when we couldn't keep our man in front of us. The help side defense has to stop the penetration which leaves the three point line open. Our guards made Deon Mitchell look like Chris Paul. Our double downs are because we don't have big guy who can defend a skilled post player well enough without fouling. Hence the extreme foul trouble Mock, Howard, and Moore were in against Tuttle, the best big man in the conference. The double downs and help defense at least take away easy lay ups. The biggest problem is unwillingness/lack of ability to move their feet and stay between their man and the basket

If Evansville is having problems with UNI's big men...then you are in for a long day tomorrow at WSU. WSU is going to run a lot more than UNI as well especially off turnovers.

We really really run this year. This is not the usual UNI team that plays defense and slow down on offense. I have a feeling WSU will win by around 25 points, and Ballentine will probably be held to a season low. Cotton will be all up in his grill all day.

Ballentine will score 10+ points in the last 10 minutes.

He'll probably get 25-30 points. He was bailed the heck out by a crap ton of calls in the UNI game. Their entire offense was predicated entirely on nothing by him running off of 3 screens and then shooting as soon as he caught it.
UNI wasn't "letting" him score but they took the strategy of Ballentine will get his but don't let anyone else beat us and it worked.
