Before conference this was the one game I picked wsu to lose. looking like @Evansville will be the last test for them. Fully expect them to go undefeated tho, just no competition this year

The two three-bombs left as a parting gift for the dozens of UNI faithful was kinda fun.

with the shot clock nearing zero...

I guess some UNI fans were complaining about poor sportsmanship when Fred was dribbling, standing more or less in place 35-40 feet from the basket, not passing the ball when he shot as the shot clock was close to expiring. I guess some would have preferred a couple of shot clock violations. :Violin:

What an amazing three weeks. From potential NCAA bubble contender to wondering if they will even make the NIT.

I guess it also might quell some of the Jacobson to Big 12/ Big 10 schools that popped up last year.

UNI? They won't make the NIT. No question. 500 teams from the MVC don't make the NIT.

I guess Van Vleet should have just handed the ball to Washpun for another assist.

But seriously, if anyone's complaining about players shooting 30 foot shots with the shot clock still ON wreaks of sore loser syndrome.

That was the largest margin of defeat for UNI on their own floor. 2nd place? 2011...WSU's 18 point win.

Didn't UNI have enough time on the shot clock on their possession before the last three by Fred to run the game clock under 30? If I'm remembering correctly, if they had held onto the ball a few more seconds, The Shocks would been able to let the clock runout for a 16 point win instead of having to take that last shot.

Some NIU fans on here still believe they'll get an at large.
