MVC Should Get In on The Alliance

This afraid to play mindset is amazing. Yes, lets play a Q3 in stead. A loss to a fellow Q1 is better than a Q3.

Nothing is stopping teams from scheduling games with the CUSA/Sun Belt/SoCon/etc. The mindset that the MVC needs join some "alliance" do so is what I find baffling.

My biggest issue would be that joining an alliance with other one bid leagues just reinforces the negative perception people have of the MVC.

The Mountain West is playing their league tournament a week earlier than usual due to some massive trade show in Vegas and they are playing some league games in early December to pacify their TV Partners. It'll be back in 20-21.

In his defense, the MWC likely would have been a one-bid league last year if Nevada had won the conference tournament. That said, its history suggests that it is very likely to generate multiple bids when its better programs are running as they should.
