Evansville and Valpo lose, 1-2 for the MVC tonight, need to do better tomorrow

Bradley beat a horrendous Little Rock team. At least it wasn't a loss. That's all I have to say about that.

Bakari Evelyn shot 2-13 at UNLV and 4-15 (1-7) vs Tubby. There’s your problem. Can’t have a low efficient shooter on a given night taking 2.5x as many shots of an efficient scorer (Smits 4-6). That’s where Valpo lost the game.

Guards should have the awareness that if they’re having an off night to alter course and dribble drive to create offense for others who have the hotter hand.

I feel terrible after this loss... I hope we become a more productive basketball team for the MVC soon. Going away from Smits in the second half was inexcusably bad coaching. This team supposedly has shooters but is terrible from long range. I can't figure it out either.

Valpo should be way better than they are. Looks like a coaching issue to me.
