6-4 on the opening week, not bad, but it might look good after this week's picks. Lots of games that are toss-ups, but here goes:

Tuesday-
Crusaders > BU
Trees > MSU
Bulldogs > SIU
Redbirds > UNI
Ramblers > UE....this is one that could definitely go the Aces way

Saturday-
Aces > ISU.....look for this to be one heck of a game
Salukis > VU...only because SIU is at home
Ramblers > ISU....LUC takes down the Redbirds in a tight defensive battle
Bears > BU....MSU gets off the snide in a struggle with the Braves

Sunday-
Panthers > DU....UNI needs the home W, while the Bulldogs continue to come back to earth sans Norton

Looking forward to catching a ton of MVC action on ESPN+. Hey, the Valley's back up to #11 in the RPI conference rankings and another top 10 finish is not out of the question.

well, Loyola looks to be the class of the MVC after the first 2 games, Valpo is the big surprise. Drake had the worst thing possible happen to them and went 0-2 after a great non con season, Bradley, Drake, and Missouri State got to start out 0-2.

One thing for certain in the MVC, anyone can beat anyone. What surprises will we see this week??

Aces up 22 with 7 minutes to go. One of these days they will learn to win a game on the road, but you better bring it when you play in the Ford Center.

I love the way the Aces are playing this year. Much faster tempo and modern style offense.
