Unfortunately my Aces will probably be a one and done.
So I might go watch the O.V.C Tournament in Evansville.

Screw that. I am going to STL for the first time since 2016 because of all the parity. This is going to be a wild tournament, and even our chances are a little better than the last two. We will probably have UNI, Valpo or SIU on Thursday, all beatable, then who the heck knows. To exemplify the league this year, 3 of our 4 wins have come against the top 3 teams, and our biggest beatdown was by the 9th place team. I don't think we have the talent, or more importantly, gas to get past Friday, but what a tournament this will be.

Evansville has beaten Drake Loyola and Missouri St. They have quite a good chance to win any game they are in. Neutral site and pressure is on

I would like to believe that, but the Aces have hit a physical, and mental, wall. They are done this year.

Can't really be a dark horse if you win 4 out of 5. Bradley isn't sneaking up on teams anymore. Everyone knows they can ball.

I feel like when Bradley came into Cedar Falls, they were a "dark horse." They were running different starters and playing very differently than the first time we played them. Didn't know what to expect and they (especially that little #5) played much better than expected.
The "dark horse" always becomes the "expected winner" in time.

Yeah. The coaching staff did a nice job of changing things after the 0-5 start. Played smaller and started by putting Luuk van Bree in there instead of Koch Bar. Van Bree is a guy who has to be guarded so it opened things up for everyone else. They also started playing faster.

They aren't perfect but playing like the top 4 team they were expected to be before the season.
