I don't think Missouri State really scares anyone in those top two spots either. I haven't been able to get myself to the point where I just expect Missouri State to win, although I am coming around to that logic as we keep rolling.

Right now, Valpo is the only team I don't want to see a there time. That could change between now and STL but we have no answer to their 7 footers

Playing a slow down, efficiency game with UNI isn't something that went well for you the first time and I'm not sure its going to go well for you on Wednesday. UNI has no problem playing in the last 15 seconds of the shot clock all night. There isn't another team in the league you can say that about right now.

MSU, Bradley and UNI are playing the best ball in the league right now, which definitely seems to chance week to week right now.

No 1 or 2 seed will scare anyone and shouldnt. No seed should feel comfortable in STL. If MSU wins 3 of the next 4 with one of those vs Drake they may be 2 seed. Still cant rest because 7 seed vs 10 seed game will be hot. 10 seed can easily win. Evansville most likely will be 10 seed and they beat the the current top 3 teams in Valley. You never know

Like I said, right now. Not concerned losing in Cedar Falls. If it repeats, then I'll amend my statement. Other than Loyola, we've played better the second time through so far. Hoping for the same on Wednesday!

Every team in the league has strengths and weaknesses. Every game at Arch Madness has the potential to be fun. There is no clear favorite and even the bottom teams have something to offer. No one should really ever feel comfortable about a win, nor certain they will lose. Should be fun. About as wide open as it has been in years.

If I had to say...right now with 4 games before the event.....

-I would put Loyola still as the favorite in my mind just because they've been there before and have the experience. They know how to win Arch Madness.
-I think Mo State, Drake, Bradley and Illinois State would all have a pretty good chance to win and none would surprise me if they did win. Mo State and Bradley are on fire right now. Drake has been steadily good. IlSU still has that potential to break out over three days.

I think a win by SIU, UNI or Valpo would be a surprise at this point, but not shocking.

InSU or UE would be a pretty big surprise/shock, but I think they have it in them to pull an upset if the chips fall correctly and at least wreack havoc in the bracket.

I can't wait for kenpom's log5 for this tourney. I don't think any team will get to a 30% chance to win the tourney.
