Indiana State & Valpo

Surprisingly Valpo doesn’t look too bad tonight, though that might have more to do with Indiana State not shooting well at 39% from the field and 25% from 3. Still better than Valpo’s O-fer from behind the arc. Not the most visually pleasing game I’ve seen but entertaining none the less. Nobody’s going to mistake either of these teams for the GS Warriors. Haha.

Ind St should just pack it in around Smits and dare Valpo to shoot.

Congrats Valpo on getting your first Arch Madness win, a pretty easy cakewalk over a hapless Indiana State team

Hopefully we'll hear an announcement soon about the future of ISU basketball, whatever that may entail? If we keep Lansing we're doomed for another 2 years, which is basically a death sentence for the program.

So happy to have that first Arch Madness win. Was really worried when they cut the lead to single digits and Barnes started heating up and of course when they started out so cold. But they defended really well and Golder and Freeman really stepped up. I'd call that one of their best performances in a season that hasn't had many. I still think Indiana State has potential. It feels like most of the pieces are there. I hope they get it figured out soon. One thing's for sure Valpo will have to be even better tomorrow if they want to beat Loyola. Do they have it in them? We'll see but it's a tall order to put it mildly.

Good show...I saw Valpo play defense and just wanted this game more than ISUb....which is shocking. Barnes not scoring early was a bad sign
