I was shocked at no calls on both sides. If Bradley’s able to play bully ball I think they win; if it’s called closer (Evansville/ISU) I think UNI can steal another tourney.

Call me biased but I've been impressed with the consistency of the reffing in this tournament. Yeah, they haven't been calling every minor touch a foul, but at least it's been consistent.

I think Bradley plays a more physical style than UNI and I would expect a veteran crew of one or both Pollard and Higgins tomorrow. That would seem to favor Bradley as that was the same crew as the Loyola game.

Higgins, Pollard, Janssen is a near mortal lock tomorrow. Great veteran crew. No officiating concerns, the better team will win.

Silly to complain about who made it to the finals. A 5 seed playing a 6 seed is clearly expected at some point in a tournament format. You win your games, you deserve to go to the tournament championship. Besides, Bradley has been the best MVC team for the past 6 weeks. It’s no surprise that they made the finals. UNI in the final is a bit of a surprise, but has clearly shown they can put together a streak of 3 wins in a row against the top of the MVC. Gonna be a great final. This Drake fan will be wearing purple at the game. Go Iowans!

If they win this game it sends a very strong message that UNIis well on its way back. Bradley has shown that #thearrival was always coming it was just a bit delayed. I'm very excited about the future of these programs and of the MVC as a whole. Should be an exciting final!

Bradley is 8-2 in it's last 10 games, with the two losses being @Drake and @Loyola. I couldn't believe that when I saw it. I knew Bradley was playing well, but not that well.

Unfortunately the tournament doesn't start for another week. Plenty of time for all that hot play and momentum to mean nothing.

Freezing cold take alert. I really wish that's how it went down.

The call was 150% correct by the book. Can't blame the refs for a terrible rule.

The problem is, by rule, you have to look at the contact in a vacuum. It doesn't matter if McDonnell got bumped. Was there excessive, non basketball related, contact above the shoulders? Yes. Does is matter, by rule, how or why is happened? Nope.

Its sickening that they aren't even allowed to look at how McDonnell ended up doing that, getting pushed by a Bradley player. Don't care if that's correct by the books, refs need to use common sense in that situation

Exactly. Blame the rule, not the call.

As bad as Bradley was in the first 22 minutes, UNI was as bad the last 18. Kind of a weird game in that regard. AJ Green is an amazing offensive player. And I might be in the minority here but I feel like UNI goes to him a bit too much. It's like the last 10 minutes it was let AJ drive and see what happens. No one else got involved at all. He's also a really bad defensive player.

Again, this isn't a hate on AJ Green take. He is really, really, really good. But I think things get a bit disjointed with him in there sometimes. I've also only seen UNI play 5-6 times all season and could be off.
