Is there more to this story? Someone on Bradleyfans is intimating that former President Joanne Glasser is behind the Peoria Journal Star’s attack on Bradley. What’s the history there?

First question: what "attack on Bradley"?

Joanne Glasser was forced into retirement in 2015. Sports fans latched onto her as a boogeyman because BU refused to fire Geno Ford after the 2014 season, and I think she was also accused of chasing off a director of athletics. As far as I know, Glasser has been enjoying a quiet retirement, and this accusation seems like something a message board bro made up from whole cloth.

The history is that the owners of Bradleyfans has a vendetta against the paper (for over a decade now). The online fanbase for Bradley is not at that forum.

The Bradley Athletics Department has apologized, and the BU President has said this won't happen again. Good. But Wardle needs to say something as well to put this to bed.

All of this happened while athletic director Chris Reynolds is in New York on the selection committee. The slow response and all of this happening while he is gone probably slowed any response Bradley had.

Is President Roberts that out of touch with his university that he didn't issue a statement until this afternoon?

It is my hope that he knew Dr. Reynolds has been out of town.
