You can say that again. Original post was in poor taste.

As are most of the posts he makes. Cries for attention. I recall him going to the Valpo board to slam private schools and go on an epic rant about how great the pool was at UNI. Posters like him can really ruin a board.

To the others who showed a tad of compassion..thank you. I have been an Ace fan for the better part of 50 years. Through McCutchan, the tragedy of the crash, the rebuilding and excitement of the Walters and Crews era, and of course the mediocrity of Martyball. After seeing great strides from our administration, supporters, fan base and coaching staff the last two years, this was nothing short of a kick in the sack.

Regardless of how this plays out (and I am still hopeful of a positive result), McCarty and Spencer have proven what I have been screaming for years..that with increased support from the administration, and good leadership, this program can once again draw the crowds and excitement we had for so long.

Even if you sell your soul to get the support and excitement you crave?

They didn’t sell their soul. Look at LSU and Arizona for schools who didn’t blink an eyelash at the FBI. UE handled this like an HR textbook: document complaints -> hire an independent law firm to investigate -> administrative leave.

Exactly. I don't see myself or anyone else selling souls. I nor Tribe have any idea what the allegations are at this point. If they are proven to be true, then I would support the appropriate course of action. I said he has proven that the support is still here, not that he should be retained at any price.

That seems like a reliable, trustworthy news source

I'm curious of how broad Title IX must extend to include this situation. Is it gross and inappropriate for a 45 year old man to have a sexual relationship with a 20 something woman? Yeah, absolutely, IMO. Especially when he is in a position of power and influence over her. But I would think the University would suspend him or ask him to resign over conduct detrimental to the program.

Will be interesting to hear some of the specifics as to what exactly happened

I've never been on the Valpo board but whatever.

If this has been an issue since he was hired as was alluded to in the original statement from the University, then the entire administration needs to be held to account. Unfortunately, it's not just a UE problem to where we've elevated athletics in the University environment.
