That's ok. They're playing the under dog role pretty well these days.

I mean, I guess you can be mad a math and probability if you want to be. The Sagarin Predictor is probably right that there is going to be some regression to the mean.

I'm not sure how any SIU fan could possibly be upset playing in the 4/5 game this year if that's indeed what happens...

I'm not upset. Would love to see the Salukis one of the top two seeds in St Louis, but that's a tall order.

First goal is to avoid playing on Thursday and I think a win at home on Saturday could clinch that. One game at a time; last night almost gave me a heart attack.

Yes, and had they been playing a team that had players that could make shots, they would not have won.

I don’t really give eu that much credit. Southern played like absolute garbage and still won. If they had played the way they did the last few games it would have been a 20 point lead.

In light of where your program appeared to be seven games ago I would scale back a bit on the pot shots at other teams. 22 games ago the program you just derided was fresh off a win at Rupp Arena. A lot can change in a hurry. Enjoy the run your team is on but SIU fans especially when you consider the Hinson era have a long way to go before they should be talking smack. Really no team in this conference has earned the right to be talking smack about anyone at this point.

Agreed. Really don't understand the puffing out of our chest. We have been embarrassing for many years. I am excited and as hopeful as anyone but I am not about to start talking about teams that have actually played on Sunday at Arch Madness in the past decade... I do think the future is bright though

I wonder how far their chest would be puffed out if Domask would break his leg, and be out for the rest of the year. The Aces are missing their best player, and if the rest of them could shoot, would have beaten them.

I get why Saluki fans are hyped up that their team is doing well, but they also act like they have been stuck in the PIG for the last 6 years. During the Barry tenure, they played on Thursday exactly twice. One of those was Hinson's first year, so that would get a pass. I know they never made it to a good post season tournament, but the last 4 years they finished 4th, 3rd, 2nd, and 3rd in the league. I don't know if Barry would have ever gotten over the hump, and I do think Mullins is a step in the right direction, but I don't know where this hype was the past seasons where they finished in the upper half of the Valley.
