No, I think that's Northern Iowa, and I'd be delighted just to stay in the upper-half come March.
But, Bryan Mullins has done a heckuva job showing why a large contingent of Saluki fans were pining for this move even earlier than it happened. He is literally doing better with a patchwork roster that was picked 10th, minus its injured best two-way player (Aaron Cook), than Hinson did the year before with a senior-loaded squad.
Really promising start to the Mullins tenure ... can't wait to see what he can do with more offensive firepower on the roster in the coming seasons.

Really hard for opposing teams to win in the ‘Dale when you’re playing both the Saluki basketball team and the swim team! :Yea!:

This isn't true from what I have read. They didn't give Bradley extra tickets as they have in some previous years. The game is a sellout so it makes sense.

I've heard the same. First we don't have enough fans, now we when we do it's a problem that we're not saving additional blocks for opposing fans. Come on now.

It wasn't extra tickets. It was tickets in the first place. I'm not talking about the comp tickets the team gets. Everyone gets those.

Lol. No.

They might be 4th though which is an incredible achievement considering what they looked like coming in.

They might be at home, but not on the road.

Talked to someone in Loyola's AD. This isn't true. Loyola wouldn't sell an entire section block of tickets to Bradley, but they did sell tickets to Bradley.

Also, found it hilarious that the official Bradley Alumni social media account was complaining about not being able to find a pregame party venue...it is Chicago, there are literally hundreds of bars and restaurants within a few mile radius of Gentile. They probably called Bulldog's and Ireland's, were told 'no' and then gave up.

Not the best, but definitely the hottest. Between the UNI and LU games they hit every big shot they needed to make.

Both times UNI played MSU, it was a buzz-saw. I use "Buzz-saw" to mean when a team shoots out of their mind and there is just no beating them.

On the season, UNI is 39.3% from 3. Last night 53%. 17/32 is tough to beat. 39% of 32 attempts would be 12.5/32 for 14 less points. And 56% in the first half.

Certainly I wish we spread some of that shooting % and got a few more in Normal and Carbondale.
Go Panthers!!

I expected a UNI win, but wow. What is going on in Springfield?!

how long do you have to sit and chat?

1. no chemistry
2. had some injuries (but who hasn't)
3. selfish basketball
4. poorly coached
5. no intensity from literally anyone lately
6. terrible guard play
7. poorly coached
8. wouldn't know defense if it slapped their mommas
9. everyone seems apathetic around the program right now...players, coaches, fans, media.
10. allegedly what Dana wants them to do on offense and defense is super complicated...and they're not getting it. I'm not sure what's complicated about "don't leave shooters open for 3s" and "don't ever let the other team take a wide open layup in a half court setting" but here we are...

thankfully, we had a birthday party for my daughter last night, so i wasn't able to watch much.

Listening to Dana on the radio after last night was depressing. He's a good talker for sure, and showed some serious fire last year. Haven't seen that this year though. Hope he can turn this around like he did last year, but I'm not holding my breath. I'm wondering if Paul Lusk is still in charge...

That being said...our freshmen have impressed me. To quote a good friend of mine, "Mosley is a dude".
