3 Awards
1) Overall: Non-Con + MVC games, minimum 100 picks to be eligible to win
2) MVC: MVC games only, minimum 50 picks to be eligible to win
3) Upset: Person who calls biggest upset per NET by season's end. You get 3 chances to "call your shot" per season. Just simply denote in your post you're using one of your 3 upset picks on a game when you elect to use one. In event of tie, tiebreaker is who had the biggest upset in their other 2 picks between the tied people. If still tied, tiebreaker is who had the best % in the MVC-only portion of Pick 'em.

Question....if we use an upset pick, does it count against our totals if we get it wrong? Or are those three basically "free" picks?

Yes, it counts against the totals. It’s a risk/reward strategy. One would be risking a high-probability point for the reward of possibly winning one of the 3 contests on a singular pick.
