This isn't the first Valley team to do this (though they are nearly if not the best) and the commentators keep saying things like "that might work in the MVC but" every chance they get. Today they said Illinois wasn't having a good day playing defense. Respect CAN'T be given.

This senior led and too cerebral point center concept has no connection with what Dr Naissmith or the selection committee intellegentia had in mind. Mosier should be banned from the game, the shot clock should be reduced to 12 seconds and players should only have 3 or maybe 2 years of college eligibility.
With this shift in power balance, quick action is essential.
This many upsets is intolerable.

Congrats to Loyola. I actually picked Loyola in my bracket and had them advancing to the Final 4. I thought they looked really good in St Louis. Regardless of if they make it that far or not, making the Sweet 16 is a big deal.

Once Cofi learns to pass to an open man, they will take over. He had 4 assists on the year. He is just so efficient 1-1 that he seems to never have learned to pass the ball. But when you’re triple teaming him every time he gets it, there’s a lot of open shooters and he would learn to find them.

If he never learned that skill, then yeah, LUC might win 8.

What nonsense. So you are saying if these same two teams played each other 10 times? Nobody plays an opponent more than twice in a season. I'm sure if Loyola had to play anybody ten times their winning percentage would decrease. If you could theoretically play a first meeting ten times, Loyola would win 8.

Kofi is a lazy defender. He's skilled offensively but was dogging it back on D and never played help side D. This lead to MANY MANY wide open lay ups for the Blers. Kofi was not the only issue on Illannoy's offense. The balls stuck with Ayo a lot and there was not much movement at all.
