If your team can't win the MVC who do you want to win?

Either Northern Iowa or Missouri St. I really like watching how Missouri St. plays as a team right now. I felt the same after N. Iowa's LV Tourney but that has somewhat subsided.

Wow. Never thought I would see the day where SIU and WSU would pick MSU to win the conference if their team could not...I wouldn't pick SIU or WSU, that is for sure.

I would go with Evansville or Bradley.

Well, chalk up another Shocker who pulls for MSU, anytime. Behind Ill St, it wouldn't surprise me that the Bears would be next among Shocker fans.

I, and those I've been with, have been treated great by Bears fans in Springfield.

Good to hear. The rivalry is intense, but unless a fan gets out of line, they deserve respect when at games etc.

Usually holds true, but MSU students got rowdy with a few last year. Though they were ebbing it on, so I assume they enjoyed the attention, and the win.

That's all good to hear. Haven't made a road trip before and would love for it to not get too bad. I'm sure I'll here some friendly remarks but all is well...I hope.

I always root for Illinois State in every game they aren't playing WSU. However, this year I want MSU to win the league if the Shockers don't. The Bears are the only other team with an at-large chance and would do any damage in the NCAA Tournament.

I really hope the Redbirds turn things around. I like to see them with success.

In regards to the question, I too would put aside rivalries in hopes for a better showing for the conference. So for specifically this year, I'd vote for Missouri State.

I have to go with MSU this year. Seems like they have the talent to get it done and have been screwed over enough times that they should get their shot. Although WSU is clearly better and deeper than CU, I don't think WSU is as good as MSU. Next year may be WSU's year.
