Great job Drake! They don't exactly hand out NCAA wins like candy, so that took some doing, and pretty damn impressive to beat a talented team by 10 despite the free throw woes and some turnover sloppiness.
Stirtz is obviously an instant Valley legend, and I'm glad what I saw from Tavion Banks in Arch Madness (including against my Salukis) translated to the big stage last night, especially defensively.
Struggling to get over that Drake likely was not getting an at-large (and still happy to accept the handful of stubborn holdouts to the correct side to acknowledge that college basketball has become intolerably skewed to the power leagues) ...

Not that it'll amount to much, but I do think now is the time for Valley media types and even administrators to hit back at the college basketball pundits about this issue, with Drake's win fresh in people's minds. Obviously that goes to another level if they can get to the second week.
