Speaking of the Drake board, it looks like Linda Sayavongchanh is getting some run there. That’s a name I didn’t have on my radar at all!

I'd like to see Linda Sayavongchanh get an interview. She is a Des Moines native. Drake Grad. Had a ton of success as an assistant at both Creighton and currently at Indiana where she is also the recruiting coordinator. While at Creighton she helped them to an Elite 8 appearance. At Indiana they went to the Sweet 16 in 2023-2024, where they lost by 4 to the eventual national champions, South Carolina. She is a winner!

She is not getting any run to speak of. One rando poster who hasn't posted in a year brought it up and was pretty much ignored by all. There's been a lot of people posting their wishes, none of which are based in any reality.

Several other rather "interesting" names being thrown out as well. Thank God that Brian Hardin is doing the hiring and nobody on Drakenation has any input.

Drake's season was a proof of concept for McCollum.

Multiple things lined up and he cashed in. Sucks for Drake and the MVC, but it's hard blame him.

Guy has won everywhere, so I'm not betting against him.

I was going to make a Keno Davis joke, then I looked at his records since he left Drake after that wild 2007-08 season.

He's been a complete mess. Central Michigan proving once again that MAC schools gives zero sh*ts about basketball.
