What WSU needs to do to win the MVC

Please, do you really care what the different media members from the MVC are predicting? What is their accuracy? Not very good and their logic is usually questionable.

The pre-season national perception in the coaches poll expected CU to be the best team in the MVC. ESPN Coaches Preseason Coaches Poll had CU was ranked 45th and UNI was 54th.

Yeah, because no one knows the Valley better than ESPN

You're right, I didn't read all that you typed. Point still stands though, the media and coaches from the Valley are going to know more about the league then coaches across the nation that vote in that poll.

The Panthers returned all five starters from the team that won the title the year before. It was pretty much a lock that UNI was the favorite last year.

Creighton was highly regarded, no doubt, but the mass majority of with UNI.

The MVC press has a "heard" mentality and don't show much discernment. If you look back at past predictions, I suspect you will find that last year prediction was the exception rather than the rule. I know that every time WSU is the preseason favorite they don't win.
